Through years, the Swiss became fatalistic: the premiums of healthcare insurance are going to increase from 4 to 5 % each year. Without much conviction Politics try to arrange solutions to try to slow down the explosion of the costs.

But the attempts at reforms seem cosmetic. Is the increase in the costs of health from now on inescapable? Is it still possible to imagine real economies in this field? Compared to the other Western countries Switzerland has it a powerful system? This week in Geneva the largest world specialists met to give a progress report on the various systems of healthcare.
