"Who's afraid of TARMED ?" Temps Present PDF Print E-mail
Written by SwissMED.net™
samedi, 28 août 2004

The new tariffing for supply of healthcare has been introduced on January 1, 2004. The insurers are delighted but the revolt broods among the doctors. Significant losses of income, innumerable paperworks to be filled, the medical secrecy "put at evil", the TARMED would have only defects. Without speaking about the consequences for the patients: in Geneva, the cantonal hospital is overflowed by the patients whom private clinics do not want to treat any more.

Temps Present, Swiss Television (TSR) - october 7, 2004

ImageA few months after the application in force of the new medical tariffing at January 1, 2004, Temps Present gives a progress report on the TARMED. With through the testimony of specialists in Geneva and Lausanne, and general practitioners from Romont to Chavornay, this report attempts to show, in the facts, the principal changes and controversies induced by new tariffing, for the patients, the doctors and the insurers.
