The call to a national demonstration of the white blouses was heard: 10'000 physicians surged Saturday afternoon on the Federal Place in Bern. The medicine of first recourse, guaranteed of quality care, economic and durable is threatened with death, if the present trend to the shortage continues, warned the participants.
"Threatened with death" or "when our own grounding", it could be read on the innumerable streamers. The physicians general practitioners complained about the shortage that threatens their profession. A lot of the demonstrators wore their white blouse.
The physicians ask for better conditions of employment, more of audience to the political level, as well as an academic formation and in appropriated cabinet.

With the support of more than 300'000 patients, the practitioners are going to take down Saturday in the street in Bern in order to claim better conditions for the formation and the exercise of their profession.
Family's medicine is threatened dramatically, if the present tendency to the shortage is not reversed, declared Friday before the press Hansüeli Späth, president of the Swiss Society of general medicine (SSGM).
For the first time, the five organizations of physicians of first recourse call some at a national demonstration to say that the things cannot continue thus.

The sales of generic increased by 50% these first two months of the year and their market share passed from 8% to 12%. Some legislative alterations seem to be at the origin of this change.
Markus Meier, director of the Swiss union of manufacturers of generic medicines (Intergenerika), confirmed Friday this information of the "Espresso" broadcast of the Alemannian radio DRS. Since April 1st, the patients who wish an original medicine when a generic is available should pay 20% of their pocket, and either 10%.
This measure is part of a packet aiming to reduce the costs of health. According to M. Meier, the announcement of this novelty seems to have had the effect, because it touches the purse directly. But the curve could become level under year, it estimates.
